All-Landmark Conference Women's Volleyball Team
MADISON, N.J. – Sophomore outside hitter
Lindsey Millis has earned a spot on the All-Landmark Conference Women's Volleyball Team, it was announced on Tuesday.
It was the first career all-conference award for Millis, who captured honorable mention recognition.
Millis led the Rangers and is currently sixth in the Landmark Conference in kills, averaging 2.85 per set. In addition, she finished second on the team and is 12th in the conference in digs (3.18 dps). She posted 11 double-doubles throughout the season.
In one of her top performances, Millis posted a career-high 24 kills – a mark that tied for sixth in team history – and 20 digs in a five-set victory over Hunter. She also posted 16 kills and 16 digs in just four sets versus Ramapo, and she tallied 16 kills and 10 digs in a Landmark Conference sweep at Wilkes in which she hit .462. In addition, she recorded 15 kills and 19 digs in a five-set match versus Penn State Harrisburg. Also a threat as a server, she posted six aces in just four sets versus Kean and served up five aces in a sweep of Ramapo.
Millis and the Rangers nearly qualified for the Landmark Conference Championship tournament this past season after tying for sixth in the conference standings. The top-six teams in the conference qualify for the postseason, but an opponent was awarded the final playoff spot due to a tiebreaker.
