MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's swimming & diving squad closed out its fall semester on a high note, capturing its 10th straight Ranger Invitational team title Friday and Saturday at F.M. Kirby Pool.

Drew, which won its 12th Ranger Invitational in the 14 years that it has been held, finished with a team score of 218, beating out Division II College of Staten Island (205), FDU-Florham (189), and Moravian University (101).

Senior Ece Onatca earned two of Drew's three victories on Saturday, touching first in both the 100-backstroke (1:00.04) and 200-backstroke (2:08.17). She won by over two seconds in the  200-back, and her time would have placed her second on the Landmark Conference performance list entering the day.

Senior Sarah Weber and freshman Adriana Scanga also captured one victory apiece on Saturday. Weber touched first in the 100-breaststroke in 1:10.66 while Scanga won by over four seconds in the 200-butterfly with a time of 2:14.54.

Weber added a runner-up performance in the 200-breaststroke, clocking a 2:33.33. In addition, sophomore Ellis Murray contributed a third-place showing in the 100-backstroke (1:01.42).

Drew will now enter a 41-day layoff from competition over winter break before returning to action on Jan. 17 with a dual meet at Stevens Institute of Technology starting at 1 p.m.
