TOWSON, Md. – Senior Ece Onatca has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week.
 
Onatca had a hand in three victories to help lead Drew to the team title at the Ranger Invitational this past weekend. She swept the backstroke events, winning the 100 in 1:00.04 and the 200-backstroke in 2:08.17. She won by over two seconds in the 200-back, and she moved up to third in the Landmark Conference rankings in both events. In addition, she swam on Drew's winning 200-freestyle relay team (1:41.20) and placed third in the 100-butterfly with a time (1:00.46) that placed her fourth on the Landmark Conference leaderboard.
 
The Rangers are off from competition until Jan. 17, when they compete in a dual meet at Stevens Institute of Technology starting at 1 p.m.
