ARLINGTON, Va. – The Drew University men's volleyball team resumed its Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) schedule on Friday and lost by a final of 3-0 at Marymount University.
The Saints (8-10, 2-0 CVC) won by scores of 25-15, 25-14, and 25-17.
Freshmen
Matthew Adegbite and
Nathaniel Fisbeck posted five kills apiece for the Rangers, who were playing just their second CVC contest in team history after competing in their first-ever conference match versus Southern Virginia back on Feb. 7.
Senior
Ephraim Smith added four kills and six digs for Drew while junior
Andrew DuHaime handed out 12 assists. Freshman
Eric Forget contributed seven digs.
The Rangers continue their stay in Virginia on Saturday, when they visit Eastern Mennonite University for a tri-match. Drew takes on Eastern Mennonite at 1 p.m. before facing No. 9-ranked Messiah University at 3 p.m. in a pair of non-conference affairs.
