TOWSON, Md. – For the second time this season and the third time in his career, junior Brandon Kobryn has been selected as the Landmark Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Kobryn tossed a six-inning, three-hit complete game in Drew's 13-1 victory over Wilkes University in a contest that was shortened due to darkness. He retired seven in a row from the third through the fifth innings, then worked out of a jam in the sixth. The Colonels loaded the bases with one out before Kobryn struck out consecutive batters looking to end the game, handing Wilkes its first conference loss of the season.

For the season, Kobryn has gone 3-1 with 21 strikeouts and a .183 opponents batting average over six games, five starts, and 23 2/3 innings.

The Rangers (8-10, 2-5 LC) return to action on Wednesday, when they visit the University of Scranton in a Landmark Conference matchup starting at 4:30 p.m.
