TOWSON, Md. – For the third time this season and the 10th time in his career, junior Elliot Parker has been chosen as the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week.

Parker turned in a big performance in his spring debut, tying for first place at The Ruckus in Williamsburg, Va. He shot a 2-under-par 142 (70-72) to help the Rangers beat out nine other schools for the team title, as they finished seven strokes in front of runner-up Bowdoin. Parker shot nine birdies and one eagle for the tournament as he claimed at least a share of first place for the third time this season. York's (Pa.) Jacob Fritz claimed medalist honors via card comparison of the second-round score.

For the season, Parker has averaged a 71.2 over 13 rounds and six events this season.

The Rangers continue their season on Friday and Saturday at the DeSales University Invitational, held at Olde Homestead Golf Club in New Tripoli, Pa.
