GLASSBORO, N.J. – Sophomore
Sage Hendershot won the long jump to lead the Drew University women's track & field team at the Oscar Moore Invitational, hosted by Rowan University on Saturday.

Battling wet and cold conditions, Hendershot leaped 5.44 meters (17-10 1/4) – just two inches shy of her season-best – to beat out 18 other competitors in the event.

Junior
Emily Camlet added a runner-up finish for the Rangers in the 100-meter dash. Competing in a field of 36, she qualified for the final with a time of 12.81 seconds in the preliminary heats. She was timed at 12.85 in the final, placing only Ryley Dixon of Division II Goldey-Beacom.

Camlet also registered a 15th-place finish while taking on 58 competitors in the 800-meter run. She clocked a time of 2 minutes, 21.56 seconds, lowering her own school record by four seconds. She was the second Division III finisher in the event.

Sophomore
Lauryn Brown added a pair of top-five showings for Drew. She placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 10.72 meters (35-2), and she also took fifth in the long jump with a leap of 4.72 meters (15-6).

Lauren Rizzolo also placed in the top half of the field in her event, placing 10th in a field of 20 in the javelin with a toss of 24.85 meters (81-6).

In addition, the 4x400-meter relay team of Hendershot, Camlet, freshman
April Kusnier, and freshman
Deborah Wang placed seventh while recording a school record of 4:16.69.

The Rangers continue their season on Friday, when they compete at the Coach Pollard Invitational, hosted by Moravian University.
