TOWSON, Md. – For the third time this season, sophomore Sage Hendershot of the Drew University women's track & field team has been selected as the Landmark Conference Field Athlete of the Week.

Hendershot won the long jump at the Oscar Moore Invitational, hosted by Rowan University, on Saturday. Battling wet and cold conditions, she leaped 5.44 meters (17-10 1/4) – just two inches shy of her season-best – to beat out 18 other competitors in the event.

For the season, Hendershot ranks third in the long jump (5.49m) and sixth in the 100-meter dash (12.63) on the Landmark Conference outdoor performance list.

The Rangers continue their season on Friday, when they compete at the Moravian University Coach Pollard Invitational.
