TOWSON, Md. – Junior midfielder Aubrey Welch has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week.
 
Welch racked up 12 points on 11 goals and one assist while also posting 13 draw controls in a 1-1 week. She netted five goals and one assist to go with nine draw controls in a 17-16 overtime loss at Moravian University, then recorded six goals and four DCs in a 19-11 win over Goucher College.
 
For the season, Welch leads the Rangers in draw controls (60). She is also tied for the team lead in goals (33) and is second in points (38), and third ground balls (25).
 
Drew closes out the regular season on Saturday, when they host Juniata College at 3 p.m. in a Landmark Conference affair.
