TOWSON, Md. – For the sixth time this season and the 13th time in his career, junior Elliot Parker was named the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week.
 
Parker claimed medalist honors to lead the Rangers to an 11-stroke victory at the Conquer the Island tournament on April 15. Parker fired an even-par 72 – including a 3-under 33 on the back-9 – to edge out his teammate, Liam Larkin, by one stroke. It was the third outright title of the spring for Parker, who shot four birdies on the day. He helped Drew shoot a 299 to beat out 15 other teams.
 
For the season, Parker has averaged a 71.0 over 20 rounds this year. He has claimed at least a share of first place in six of his 10 events.
 
The Rangers return to action on Saturday and Sunday at the Landmark Conference Championship, which will be held at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort at Shawnee on Delaware, Pa.
