All-Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Team
TOWSON, Md. – Junior midfielder
Aubrey Welch has been selected to the All-Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Team, it was announced on Friday.
Welch, who captured her first career all-conference honor, was named to the second team.
This past season, Welch led the team in both goals (36) and draw controls (63). In addition, she finished second among the Rangers in points (40) and third in both ground balls (26) and caused turnovers (16). Among the Landmark Conference leaders, she currently ranks 10th in goals per game (2.25) and 11th in draw controls per game (3.94).
Welch closed the season on a flurry, scoring 19 of her goals over the last four games. She struck for a career-high six goals in a Landmark Conference victory over Goucher, racked up five goals, one assist, and seven draw controls in an overtime loss to Landmark Conference for Moravian, and netted five goals and six draw controls in a conference win over Lycoming. In addition, she posted a career-high 10 draw controls versus Elizabethtown in an additional Landmark Conference tilt.
The All-Landmark Conference Team is voted on by the 10 Landmark Conference women's lacrosse head coaches.
