SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Junior Emily Camlet won the 400-meter dash in record-breaking fashion while sophomore Lauryn Brown earned the gold in the triple jump to lead the Drew University women's track & field team on the final day of the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships on Sunday at Susquehanna University.

The Rangers finished with 45 points, placing ahead of Juniata College (31). Moravian captured the team title with 172.5 points.

Camlet posted a tremendous performance, winning the 400 by 1.4 seconds with a time of 55.61 seconds – a personal record (PR) by over a second. Her time also smashed the Landmark Conference Championship meet record of 56.80 set by Sara Arbogast of Susquehanna in 2021. In addition, she bettered her own school record and overall Landmark Conference record, and her time currently ranks 17th in Division III.

Brown recorded her first career Landmark Conference title with her victory in the triple jump. She leaped 11.54 meters (37-10 1/2) to win the event by over six inches while coming within a quarter-inch of her own school record.

Sophomore Sage Hendershot also closed out the championship with another outstanding performance, finishing as the runner-up in the final of the 100-meter dash one day after winning the long jump with a meet and conference record. Her time of 12.13 seconds improved upon her own school record set one day earlier in preliminaries, and it also bettered the former meet record of 12.19 set by Moravian's Brianna Wright in 2014. Nancy Nyadongo of Goucher won the event in 12.10.

Camlet added a fifth-placing showing in the final of the 200-meter dash with a clocking of 25.81 seconds.

An additional school record was turned in by sophomore Lauren Rizzolo, who placed ninth while improving upon her own Drew standard with a mark of 31.13 meters (102-1).

Several Rangers will continue their season on Friday at the Ramapo Twilight Last Chance Meet.
