TOWSON, Md. – Three members of the Drew University men's golf team earned a spot on the All-Landmark Conference Team by virtue of their performances at the Landmark Conference Championships April 26-27.

Junior Liam Larkin and Elliot Parker captured first-team recognition while sophomore Avery Cohen garnered second-team honors.

In addition, first-year Head Coach Lucas Artigliere C'23 and his staff were selected as the Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Rangers to a one-stroke victory at the Landmark Conference Championships.

Artigliere and his staff have led Drew to perhaps its top season in the eight-year history of the program. A two-time Landmark Conference individual champion himself and a member of Drew's first conference championship team in 2022, Artigliere led the Rangers to victories in seven of their 11 events throughout the season. The team closed the season on a flurry, winning its final three events, capped by a one-stroke victory at the Landmark Conference Championships. Over 22 rounds, the Rangers have averaged a school-record 295.1 – nearly eight strokes better than their previous-best mark – and have shot under 300 in 15 rounds. In one of the team's most impressive performances, the team shot a 574 (290-284) to win Arcadia University's Golden Oaks Shootout, setting team records for the lowest score for both 18 and 36 holes. The team also fired a 584 (288-296) to win The Melee, held Oct. 20-21in Williamsburg, Va.

In the spring, the Rangers won The Ruckus on March 22-23 with a 580 (287-293) and the DeSales Invitational on March 28-29 with a 586 (292-294). Drew also closed the spring with victories at the Ursinus College Spring Awakening (295), the Conquer the Island tournament (299), and the Landmark Conference Championships, where the Rangers carded a 600 (289-311) to edge out Scranton for the team's second conference title in program history.

In addition, Drew's "B" team won four of its eight events, shooting as low as a 290 in winning the Battle at Berkleigh on Sept. 26.

Larkin captured his first All-Landmark Conference honor after finishing as the individual runner-up at the conference championship. He was the individual leader after the opening round, shooting a career-low, 3-under-par 69. For the tournament, he collected six birdies and finished with a 36-hole score of 145 (69-76).

For the season, Larkin has averaged a 75.6 to rank third among the Rangers. He has placed in the top-10 in seven of his 11 events and has broken the top-five on four occasions, including a victory at the FDU-Florham Invitational.

Parker garnered a spot on the All-Landmark Conference First Team for the third consecutive season after winning the event in 2024 and finishing third in 2023. At this year's tournament, he shot a 146 (73-73), posting nine birdies and one eagle, en route to a third-place finish.

Throughout the season, Parker has averaged a team-leading 71.1 over 22 rounds, and he currently ranks 27th in Division III as of the latest Clippd rankings. He has won six of his 11 events while finishing in the top-10 all but once. Parker shot a season-low 67 in the opening round of the Golden Oaks Shootout, where he fired a school record for 36 holes, winning the event with a 135 (67-68).

Cohen garnered his first career All-Landmark Conference awards after finishing in a three-way tie for seventh place with a 151 (73-78), posting four birdies along the way.

On the season, Cohen ranks second among the Rangers in scoring average with a 74.1 over a team-leading 23 rounds. He has placed in the top-10 in nine of his 12 events, including five top-five performances and a victory for the B team at the Drew Birdie Bash on Oct. 2, where he shot a 3-under-par 69. Cohen also carded a career-low 66 in the second round of the Golden Oaks Shootout, where he placed second behind Parker with a 142 (76-66).

By virtue of their Landmark Conference title, the Rangers earned an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Championships, which will be held May 20-23 at Midvale Country Club in Penfield, N.Y.
