TOWSON, Md. – Four members of the Drew University softball team have captured a spot on the All-Landmark Conference Team.

Junior outfielder Olivia Magliacano was selected to the first team while junior second baseman Haley Meierhofer garnered second-team recognition. In addition, senior catcher Delaney O'Donoghue and senior first baseman MacKenzie Pisani gained honorable mention.

The four have helped the Rangers to a spot in the Landmark Conference Championship tournament, marking the team's first appearance in the Landmark Conference Championship since 2021 and its first in a non-Covid year since 2008.

Magliacano came away with her first career All-Landmark Conference honor after posting an impressive season as the team's starting centerfielder. Over 40 games started, she has led the Rangers in a slew of categories, including batting average (.386), runs scored (41), hits (54), RBIs (26), triples (10), home runs (six), slugging (.707), and on-base percentage (.442). She has broken school record for both hits and triples in a season and has also tied the Landmark Conference record for triples. Magliacano leads the conference in runs, hits, and triples, and she ranks fourth in home runs. She has also enjoyed a strong season defensively, firing in seven outfield assists.

In one of her top performances, Magliacano finished 5-for-6 with three home runs in a doubleheader versus Juniata. She also posted six, three-hit games throughout the season.

Meierhofer captured All-Landmark Conference honors for the second time in her career after receiving second-team honors as a freshman. Starting 34 games at second base, she has batted .333, is tied for second on the team with 19 runs scored, and is also tied for third among the Rangers with seven doubles. She has been even more impressive in Landmark Conference play, leading the Rangers with a .429 batting average – a mark that is tied for first among the conference leaders.

Meierhofer has collected multiple hits in 10 games this season, and she drilled a career-high four hits in a 4-for-4 showing in a 7-1 victory over Juniata. She also cracked three hits versus Wilkes, John Jay, and Susquehanna.

A first-time all-conference selection, O'Donoghue has turned in a strong senior season for the Rangers, batting .333 over 28 games and 24 starts. She has also been at her best in conference action, batting .353 versus Landmark opponents. She has posted five multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4 showing in a victory over Puget Sound. She also went 4-for-6 in a doubleheader split with Elizabethtown, going 2-for-3 in each game, and smacked a pair of hits in the team's Landmark Conference Championship first-round game at Wilkes.

Pisani captured All-Landmark Conference honors for the second straight season after earning honorable mention last year as well. She has started all 41 games and is currently the team's third-leading hitter, batting .341. She is also tied for second among the Rangers with 18 RBIs and has led the squad with 17 walks. Pisani has posted 11 multi-hit games throughout the season and drilled three hits versus both Puget Sound and Haverford. Defensively, she has fielded .991 and did not commit an error in Landmark Conference play.

The Rangers (20-21, 7-9 LC) will pick up play in the Landmark Conference Championship tournament on a date and time to be announced. Their game scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m., along with the rest of Friday's tournament games, was postponed due to impending rain.
