MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University softball team will be conducting a prospect camp on Sunday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. at the Drew University Softball Field.
This is a one-day camp for high school student-athletes interested in attending and playing softball for Drew University and will provide a glimpse into what it is like to be a student-athlete at Drew. The student-athletes will have the opportunity to work on the field with the coaching staff and 2026 Drew softball team, hear from Admissions, and tour the campus.
The day will begin with a presentation from the Drew University Admissions Department. The camp will cover all parts of the game, including everyday defensive drills and position work. It will also provide an introduction into the fundamentals of Drew's offensive game which focuses on hitting, bunting and slapping. The softball portion of the day will be capped by a competitive live game on the softball field. After the competition, current Drew players will give a campus tour and a Q&A session will be held.
Â
All players must bring their own glove, helmet, and bat. Water and ice will be provided but it is recommended that everyone bring their own water bottle.
Admission is $125 and checks should be made payable to "Drew Softball." For more information, contact head coachÂ
