MADISON, N.J. – Junior
Ignacio Martinez scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute and the Drew University men's soccer team rallied past FDU-Florham 2-1 in the team's season opener and the first round of the Drew/FDU Fall Festival on Friday in Ranger Stadium.
The Rangers will now take on Hobart College in the championship match on Sunday at 3 p.m. Hobart defeated Kean University 2-0 in the other first-round tilt.

David DiNola tied it up with his first career goal. Sophomore
Vitalii Datsyk set up the play with a corner kick from the left side, sending in a low liner that DiNola headed in just inside the left post with 4:12 remaining.
With just over two minutes left, junior
Jonathan Gutierrez delivered a beautiful pass over the defense to Martinez, who drilled in a shot inside the far post for his second career goal and first game-winner.
The Rangers dominated possession throughout the game and outshot the Devils 27-5. However, FDU keeper Victor Ciach collected 13 saves.
Junior transfer
Donovan Friedhoff made four saves to pick up the win in his Drew debut.
Neither side scored in the opening half, when the Rangers outshot FDU 13-2. However, Ciach made nine of his stops in the period.
Piotr Widerynski broke open the scoreless affair for the Devils when he struck in the 55th minute, setting up Drew's late comeback.
Sunday's match will mark the first-ever meeting between Drew and Hobart in men's soccer.
