MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's soccer team scored all three of its goals in the first half and the Rangers blanked previously-undefeated Ramapo College 3-0 in a non-conference women's soccer match Wednesday evening in Ranger Stadium.
Freshman
Olivia Klein scored two goals for the Rangers (3-2-1), upping her team-leading total to five on the season.
Drew finished with a 22-7 shot advantage and yielded only four shots on goal for the night.
Junior
Sarah Crowley and sophomore
Hayden Scotti teamed up to share the shutout for the Rangers, with Crowley making one save in the first half and Scotti turning aside three shots in the second period.
Klein converted off an assist from freshman
Riley Bent in the fifth minute to provide Drew with all of the offense it would need. She struck again in 14th minute for her second multi-goal game of the season.
Sophomore
Megan Jozak capped the scoring with her first goal of the season and the second of her career.
The Rangers outshot the Roadrunners 8-3 in the first half and 14-4 in the second stanza.
The Blue and Green pick up their schedule on Saturday, when they host No. 20-ranked Rowan University at noon.
