UNION, N.J. – The Drew University women's volleyball team wrapped up play at the Kean University Invitational on Saturday.
The Rangers opened the day with a 3-0 loss to Alfred University (28-26, 25-19, 25-18) before falling by a 3-1 count to Kean (25-17, 24-26, 25-19, 25-23).
Versus Alfred, sophomore
Lindsey Millis posted six kills and eight digs while classmate
Skyler Ribitzki also totaled six kills. Junior
Alyssa Rachwal handed out 12 assists, and sophomore
Aidyn Stone contributed eight digs.
Against Kean, Millis paced the Rangers with 10 kills, eight digs, and six aces while senior
Emily Shirk contributed eight kills and four blocks. Rachwal dished out 16 assists while Stone totaled 16 digs. Freshman
Cristina Coombs added 10 assists.
The Rangers continue their season on Thursday, when they host Ramapo College at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match.
