UPPERCO, Md. – The Drew University men's golf "B" team competed at the Stevenson Invitational on Monday at Piney Branch Golf Club and placed sixth out of 13 teams, shooting a 321.
 
Leading the way for the Rangers was junior Eric Castner, who shot a 6-over-par 77 and tied for eighth among 65 golfers. He birdied one hole and parred 12 others.
 
Freshman Brennan Dewitt was Drew's second finisher, as he tied for 25th with an 80 while posting one birdie and 12 pars.
 
Senior Ryan Ricci and freshman Noah Erickson completed the team score, tying for 36th with an 82. Ricci birdied two holes while Erickson notched one birdie and eagled and the par-5 14th hole.
 
Senior Shiv Bhaskar also competed and tied for 41st with an 84.
 
The Rangers continue their season on Friday and Saturday, when a "B" team competes at the DeSales Invitational.
