TOWSON, Md. – Senior Emily Camlet has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week.

Camlet won two events and placed third in another over a pair of meets for the Rangers this past weekend. At the Ramapo Season Opener at the Armory, she won the 400-meter dash for the second week in a row while placing third in the 200. In a meet consisting of Division I, II, and III competition, Camlet raced to a season-best time of 56.86 seconds in the 400 – nearly a full second faster than her nearest competitor in the field of 48. She also beat out the nearest Division III finisher by 1.46 seconds. Her 400 time boosted her to sixth on the current Division III performance list.

Camlet was equally impressive in the 200, racing to a career-best time of 25.36, which places her 16th on this year's Division III performance list. Competing in a field of 73, she placed only behind Division II and Division I competitors.

For good measure, Camlet won the 600-meter dash at the Ursinus Collegeville Classic in 1:45.37 – over two seconds faster than the event runner-up.

The Rangers continue their season on Saturday, Jan. 31, when they travel to the Alvernia University PLEX Shootout.
