MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's soccer team will compete in the Landmark Conference Championships for the fifth year in a row when it hosts Elizabethtown College on Saturday in a first-round matchup.

The No. 4-seeded Rangers (5-3-8, 3-1-5 LC) will take on the No. 5-seeded Blue Jays (6-7-4, 4-4-1 LC) in a 1 p.m. kickoff at Ranger Stadium.

Tickets may be purchased in advance through HomeTown Ticketing HERE. Ticket prices are $11 for adults, $6 and for minors (age 10-17), and free for children under 10 and all Landmark Conference students, faculty, and staff with a valid school ID.

The winner of the match will advance to the semifinals, where they will visit No. 1-seeded Catholic University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

In the other first-round matchup, No. 3-seeded Moravian University will host No. 6 Susquehanna University on Saturday at 6 p.m., with the winner traveling to No. 2-seeded University of Scranton on Wednesday. The conference championship match will then take place on Saturday, Nov. 7. The higher-seeded team will serve as the host throughout the playoffs.

Under first-year Head Coach Ray Goon, the Rangers are making their 10th appearance in the Landmark postseason and are seeking their second title, having won it in 2013. They are 5-6-3 overall in the Landmark playoffs and will be hosting a first-round match for the third time in the last four years. The Rangers have won their last three Landmark Conference Championship home matches – 2-1 over Catholic in the 2024 first round, 1-0 over Susquehanna in the 2023 first round, and 3-1 over Juniata in the 2010 semifinals.

Drew and Elizabethtown will be facing one another in the postseason for the fifth time but the first time in the Landmark Conference era. The last time the two teams met in the postseason, the Blue Jays claimed a 1-0 victory in the 1999 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) semifinals. Drew is seeking its first playoff win over Elizabethtown since a 1-0 victory in the 1997 MAC final.

When the two sides met earlier this season on Oct. 21, the Rangers forged a 1-1 tie at Etown in a wild ending that featured two goals in the final minute. The Blue Jays broke a scoreless game when Meghan McGonagle struck with just 37 seconds left, but the Rangers answered 12 seconds later when freshman Emily Zegler scored off a pass from freshman Hannah Stahl.

For the year, Stahl leads the team with nine points on three goals and three assists while senior Ella Reyngoudt has added three goals and two assists. Sophomore Riley Bent has contributed three goals and one helper while freshman Caitlin Zegler has also scored three goals. Junior Megan Jozak has also distributed three assists.

In goal, senior Sarah Crowley has gone 4-1-6 while leading the conference in save percentage (.902) and ranking second in goals-against average (0.55) - marks that rank seventh and 41st, respectively, in Division III. Junior Hayden Scotti has also received significant playing time and is 1-1-2 with a 0.59 GAA and a .833 save percentage along with two shutouts.
