BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Drew University men's lacrosse team held an opponent to single-digit goal scoring for the fifth time in eight games this season, but host Moravian University used a third-quarter rally to hand the Rangers a 9-6 setback in Landmark Conference action Wednesday evening.
The Rangers (4-4, 1-1 LC) led 6-3 with 9:12 left in the third quarter after scoring the first three goals of the period, but Moravian answered with a 5-0 run to go up 8-6 heading into the fourth quarter. The Greyhounds then scored the only goal in the fourth quarter.

Riley Zeer scored two goals each for Drew while sophomore

Theo Krueger posted one goal and one assist apiece. Krueger also picked up four ground balls, and freshman
Josef Zengerle contributed four grounders and three caused turnovers.
In goal, senior
Sawyer Kennedy posted seven saves while playing the opening 48 minutes. Junior
Joe Barnish turned aside two shots the rest of the way.
Jack Minetti paced the Greyhounds (6-3, 1-1 LC) with four goals.

Joost van der Horst cashed in with 10:36 left in the first half, but Moravian answered with two goals to make it a 3-3 game at the intermission.
Zeer sandwiched a pair of goals around a tally from
Nick Carabetta to hand Drew its aforementioned 6-3 lead before Moravian's comeback.
Drew returns to action on Saturday, when it hosts Goucher College at 1 p.m. in another Landmark Conference affair.
