SCRANTON, Pa. – Freshman defenseman
Josef Zengerle broke Drew's single-season record for caused turnovers, but the Rangers dropped an 18-3 Landmark Conference decision at the University of Scranton on the final day of the regular season on Wednesday.
Despite the loss, the Rangers (7-8, 4-5 LC) qualified for the Landmark Conference Championship tournament for the third year in a row. Drew will enter the postseason as the No. 6 seed and will visit No. 3-seeded Elizabethtown College on Saturday at noon in a first-round matchup.
Zengerle's lone caused turnover of the game broke the former team record of 34 set by Tyler McCarthy C'24 in 2022.

Sawyer Kennedy started in goal and played the opening 38 minutes, making six saves while yielding 12 goals. Sophomore
Aiden Kelly played 15 minutes and stopped one shot while allowing four goals, and freshman
Luca LeClaire manned the pipes for the final six minutes, recording three stops while letting in two goals.
Cooper Roberts and Kyle Holmes registered three goals and one assist each for Scranton (11-6, 9-0 LC).
