TOWSON, Md. – Freshman Natalia Melendez Sanchez has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.
 
Melendez Sanchez went 2-0 in singles play over a pair of Ranger victories. In a 7-0 non-conference win over FDU-Florham, she recorded a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the No. 1 position. She followed up with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles in Drew's 7-0 Landmark Conference victory at Elizabethtown.
 
The Rangers (7-7, 3-1 LC) return to action on Tuesday, when they host the University of Scranton in a Landmark Conference tilt.
