Box Score EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Drew University women's tennis team competed in its first dual match of the season on Wednesday and was handed a 7-0 setback at Division II East Stroudsburg University.
 
The Warriors (2-1) opened the match by capturing the doubles points, winning all three doubles contests. At No. 3 doubles, seniors Kapriana Payami and Danielle Pettoni lost just 6-4 while freshman Alessandra Solares and junior Madison Williams won three games at the No. 1 spot.
 
In singles play, senior Riley Roesel won the most games for the Rangers in her 6-2, 6-1 loss.
 
The Rangers are back in action on Friday, Oct. 2, when they host another Division II opponent – Kutztown University – at 4 p.m.
