TOWSON, Md. – For the fifth time this year and the first time during the outdoor season, senior Emily Camlet has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week.

Camlet won the 400-meter dash by over a second, beating out 42 Division II and III competitors with a time of 56.83 seconds at the Ursinus College Springfest. Her time was just 0.39 seconds shy of her season-best that leads the Landmark Conference and ranks 14th on the current NCAA Division III performance list in the event. It was her third event victory in as many meets this season, as she also captured the 400 at the Myrtle Beach Challenge on March 14 and the 800-meter run at the Ramapo Invitational on March 28.

Camlet also posted her career-best time in the 200-meter dash, placing second in a field of 55 with a time of 25.05 seconds. Her time lowered her own school by 0.31 seconds, and it places her first in the Landmark Conference and 32nd in Division III. She was the top Division III finisher in the 200 and placed only a hundredth of a second behind event winner Ryley Dixon of Division II Golden Beacom. In addition, Camlet led off for the 4x100-meter relay team that placed third out of 10 teams and established a program record with a time of 49.48 seconds.

The Rangers continue their season on Friday and Saturday at the Bill Butler Invitational, hosted by West Chester University.
