Three Men's Golfers Named All-Region

5/11/2026 12:33:00 PM

NORMAN, Okla. – Sophomore Sam Dolan, junior Avery Cohen, and senior Elliot Parker have been selected to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA)/PING NCAA Division III All-Region 3 Team.

The trio was among 15 student-athletes from Region 3 named to the team. Their selections marked the highest number of all-region picks in the nine-year history of Drew men's golf, and it was the second year in a row that multiple Rangers earned all-region honors in the same year.

It was also the fourth consecutive season that Parker earned all-region accolades while Cohen was a repeat selection. Dolan, a transfer from Roanoke College, captured his first all-region citation.

Drew has now had an all-region selection in men's golf five years in a row. Head Coach Lucas Artigliere C'23 was the first Ranger to receive the award in 2022.

Players across seven regions were honored by the GCAA.

Parker, who is also a three-time Division III All-American, has led the Rangers once again this season, averaging a team-leading 71.5 over 21 rounds. He currently ranks 37th in Division III as of the latest Clippd rankings and has won his last two events while claiming medalist honors in five of his 10 events for the season. He is coming off a tremendous performance at the Landmark Conference Championships, where he fired a 6-under-par 66 in the second round to win by six strokes with a 138 (72-66), capturing Landmark Conference Player of the Year honors for the second time in his career. Parker also picked up victories at Conquer the Island (68), The Ruckus (74-66=140), the Landmark Conference Fall Preview (71-69=140), and The Gauntlet (66-66=132).

Cohen has also shot all 21 rounds this season while averaging a 73.6 – a mark that ranks second among the Rangers. He shot a season-low 69 (-3) in the second round of The Spring Thaw, where he tied for seventh among 70 golfers with a 146 (77-69). He also finished as the runner-up with a 144 (72-72) at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview, and he placed fourth at the Landmark Conference Championships with a 145 (75-70), earning First Team All-Landmark honors.

Dolan shot all 21 rounds as well and finished as Drew's third-leading golfer for the season with an average of 74.1 per round. He shot his two best rounds of the season at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate, closing with a 70 and a 3-under-par 69 to finish tied for 14th among 120 golfers with a 1-over 217, helping the Rangers earn a victory at the prestigious event. He also placed eighth with a 152 (77-75) at the Landmark Conference Championships to earn second-team all-conference recognition.

The three helped the Rangers win their second straight Landmark Conference title this past spring, as the team cruised to a 25-stroke victory to earn an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Championships. The event will be held Tuesday through Friday at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
