Landmark Conference Baseball Championship Information
MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University baseball team will open postseason play on Tuesday, when it visits Wilkes University in the first round of the Landmark Conference Championships.

The fifth-seeded Rangers (24-15, 13-11 LC) and the top-seeded Colonels (24-16, 18-6 LC) will face off at 4 p.m. No. 3-seeded Elizabethtown College will also host No. 4 University of Scranton on Tuesday; the remainder of the tournament will be held at Penn Medicine Park in Lancaster, Pa. on Friday through Sunday.

The Rangers will be making their sixth appearance in the Landmark Conference Championships and their second in the last three years, having also participated in 2012, 2016, 2017, 2021, and 2024 (every team received a playoff bid in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic). Drew will be aiming for its first postseason victory since defeating Moravian University 10-9 to win the 2012 Landmark Conference title.
Drew and Wilkes will facing off in the postseason for the first time. The two sides played their regular-season series at Wilkes in late March, when the Colonels captured all three games. Wilkes took the opener 6-1, but won by only three combined runs in the second and third games, prevailing 6-4 and 6-5.

The Rangers enter the postseason on a five-game winning streak and has won seven of its last eight games. They currently rank second in the Landmark Conference in batting average (.301) and lead the Landmark Conference with a school-record 28 home runs. Sophomore outfielder

Nick Donofrio is tied for the conference lead with a Drew-record 10 home runs and tied for second in RBIs (46). On the mound, freshman
Jayce Thoroughman (3-2) leads the Rangers in strikeouts (44) and innings pitched (53 2/3).
