MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's soccer team held Shenandoah University to five shots on goal but the Hornets edged the Rangers 1-0 on the opening day of the Drew Fall Festival on Saturday in Ranger Stadium.

Hayden Scotti made four saves for the Rangers (0-1-2), including two in each half, while Morgan Musselman also stopped four shots for Shenandoah (3-1).
After a scoreless first half, Emily Soos struck for the game's lone goal in the 51st minute.
In the first game of the day, Ursinus College defeated Alvernia University 5-1.
The Festival concludes on Sunday, when Shenandoah and Alvernia play at 1 p.m. while Drew takes on Ursinus at 3:30 p.m.
