TOWSON, Md. – Senior goalie Donovan Friedhoff has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week.
 
Friedhoff posted back-to-back shutouts to help lift the Rangers to a 1-0-1 week. He stopped four shots in a scoreless tie versus Stockton, then collected another four saves in a 1-0 victory at Saint Joseph's Long Island, helping the Rangers to their first victory of the season.
 
Friedhoff has now posted a clean sheet in three of his four games thus far while posting a 0.50 goals-against average and a .889 save percentage.
 
The Rangers (1-1-2) pick up their schedule on Tuesday, when they host William Paterson University at 7 p.m. in a non-conference outing.
