Better, but not good enough for Drew women's soccer as the Stevens Ducks came from behind to deal the Rangers their fourth straight defeat.  Courtney Carnevale had given Drew a lead in the sixth minute, but Mary Chew in the 30^th and Gia Gonzales in the 54^th tallied to bring the hosts back from the deficit. Kim Jaikisson made four saves in goal for Drew.  The Rangers will look to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they return to Landmark Conference action against Goucher at 1 pm at Ranger Stadium.

Carnevale got Drew on the board first with a well taken goal in the sixth minute.  Emily Weida found Carnevale inside the box before the first-year picked out the left corner for her second goal of the season.  The goal broke a long scoring drought for the Rangers who had gone 248 minutes since their previous tally.

Drew made the lead hold up for more than 20 minutes despite some pressure from the Ducks.  Kim Jaikisson had come up with three saves for the Rangers before Paige Allen set up a streaking Mary Chew at the top of the 18.  Chew found the back of the net to equalize for the hosts.  

After a scrappy start to the second half, Stevens got the winner from Gia Gonzales.  Gonzales' cross fooled the Rangers and snuck in the right side for a goal in the 54^th minute. 

Drew tried to get back into the game, but Carnevale's header was saved by Teegan Kelly and, though the Rangers ended the game with a pair of corner kicks, the game would end at 2-1 to Stevens.

With the loss, Drew stands at 3-6-1 on the season.  The Rangers still have six Landmark Conference games left and plenty of non-conference contests as well.   Drew's first order of business is to take care of the Goucher Gophers on Saturday at 1 pm at Ranger Stadium.
