The Rangers started the score-fest just over a minute after the whistle with a goal by junior attack Cara Jefferies off a converted clear attempt.

Lyndsay Rossi gave the Rangers a 2-0 advantage just a few minutes later.
The Rangers responded to an Allie Morgan goal with Sloan Coles' first score of the night. Drew blew their 3-1 lead giving up three consecutive goals off free-possession shots to the Brewers' Elizabeth Feltch, Allie Morgan and Larisa Latko. Coles finally broke up the Vassar goal surge with her second of the night, with 10:43 remaining in the half. Senior Samantha Silver picked up the Vassar keeper's save off another bullet from Coles and put it in the net to give the Rangers a 5-4 edge with 5:06 to go.
Coles won the draw control after the goal but committed a foul on Moe Byrne inside the 18 giving Vassar yet another free-possession shot. Byrne converted the opportunity to tie the game at 5-all. Coles would redeem herself just before the two minute mark with a goal off a Brown assist to give the Rangers a 6-5 lead going into the half.
Vassar opened the second period similar to how the Rangers opened the first with a goal just over a minute after the whistle. The Rangers responded with two more goals from Silver and went up 8-7.
Sarah Warner exploded for the Brewers' offense scoring three times in three minutes to put Vassar up 10-8.
Brown tied the game at 12-all for the Rangers with two consecutive free-possession goals. Feltch was there again for the Brewers, and scored off a free-possession shot following a Jayme Alfano foul. Warner would follow with her fourth goal of the night to hand the Brewers a two-goal advantage, just under 2:00 to go in the game. Brown made things interesting scoring a goal after Coles won draw control to make it 14-13 game with 1:31 remaining. Brown ripped a shot as time expired but was denied by Vassar keeper Nicole Engelhardt.
Engelhardt finished with 12 saves off 28 Ranger shots. Feltch and Morgan both tallied three goals, Byrne with two.
Drew junior keeper Rachel Hanley allowed all 14 goals and made nine saves. Brown's four goals, two assists paced the Rangers offense. Silver and Coles both complimented with hat tricks for the Rangers who will host Haverford Wednesday, March 17th at 4:00pm.
