ALLENTOWN, Pa. (March 31, 2010)- The Drew Rangers women's lacrosse team received four-goal performances from attacks Stacie Brown (Upper Marlboro, Md./Calverton School) and sophomore Aileen Musynske (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park Memorial) in a 14-10 over the Muhlenberg Mules Wednesday afternoon. The Rangers improved their record to 4-6 on the year while the Mules who entered the match with a 31-game win streak in non-conference contests dating back to the 2005 season fell to 5-3.
The Rangers scored first just 3:30 into the match when junior midfielder Sloan Coles (The Plains, Va./Foxcroft School) cracked her ninth goal of season. Drew and Muhlenberg would trade goals for the next fourteen minutes until Brown scored her 19th and 20th Rangers a 5-3 lead with 7:42 remaining in the first half. Mules' leading scorer Danielle Rosen notched her 30th goal of the season with 3:13 on the clock to close out the first half, only down one, 5-4.
Drew came out of the halftime on fire and score the first three goals of the second half. Musynke and Coles both scored their second goals of the game in the stretch.
The Mules were not going down without a fight and proceeded to go on a three-goal run of their own to bring the game again within one, 8-7, with 21:38 to go. Brown and Musynke would both secure their hat tricks within the next minute, stretching the Rangers lead to 10-7.
The Mules scored three more times in the half but it wasn't enough to match the Rangers offense that went on another three-goal run. Brown and Musynke stretched their season goal totals to 22 and 18 respectively and redshirt freshman Lyndsay Fry (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Morristown Beard) scored her second goal of the game, fourth on the year to finish off Muhlenberg.

The hat tricks from Brown and Musynke paced the Rangers offense. Brown was 4-6 on shots, Musynke a perfect 4-4. Coles and Fry both finished with two-goals a piece for the Rangers. Sophomore Lyndsay Rossi (Pennington, N.J./Pennington School) recorded two assists for Drew.
On the defensive end, Rossi caused three turnovers and picked up three groundballs. Rachel Hanely(Randolph, N.J./Randolph) made eight saves in the net and picked up her fourth win of the season for the Rangers.
Drew plays host to the Rowan University Profs this Saturday April 3, 2010 at Noon.
