Drew Wins Fifth-Straight Match, Down Eagles 8-1

HUNTINGDON, Pa. (April 10, 2010) – Women's Tennis continues to roll as they defeated Landmark Conference opponent Juniata College today. Michelle Gbelama (Trenton, N.J./Trenton) played at number one singles and won her third consecutive match and also contributed a doubles win.

Chelsea Lipp (Old Lyme, Conn./Old Lyme), playing in her first match since early March, also added two wins to the Ranger total. She defeated Lauren Perow 6-0, 6-1 and teamed up with Gbelama at number one doubles and pulled out a 8-3 victory.

Hayley Downing (Cliffside Park, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy) came up with her fourth consecutive singles match win as she took down Stacie Beegle in straight sets.

The Rangers will travel to the National Tennis Center in Queens, N.Y. to take on Hunter College on Wednesday at 4:30.
