Doubles Lock Up Victory for Rangers


TOWSON, Md. (April 3, 2010) - Drew remains unbeaten as they sit on top of the Landmark Conference standings at 3-0 thanks to a 7-2 victory over Goucher this afternoon. The Rangers hand the Gophers its second conference loss of the season and drop to 6-4 on the year.

Drew won four of the six singles matches and swept doubles to defeat the Gophers for the first time since entering the Landmark Conference. Freshman Vivian Peng (Piscataway, N.J/Boca Raton Community) continued her dominance this season winning her third-straight match at number one singles. Winning 6-0, 6-0 today, she has only dropped two games on the season.
