Box Score
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (October 1, 2011) – Christine Meconi (Brooklyn, N.Y./Midwood) recorded three points in the second half, including the game-winning goal with 19:06 left in the game to down Moravian College (3-6-1, 0-2 Landmark) 2-1 on the road this afternoon. Drew improved to 1-1 in league play and is now 3-7 on the year.

Thanks to a goal by Eileen Black just 1:02 in to the game, the Greyhounds held a 1-0 lead for nearly 64 minutes, firing a total of seven shots on goal in the first half of play. The Rangers began their comeback in the second frame and tied the game up on a goal by Courtney Carnevale (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro). The junior notched her first goal of the 2011 season off a pass from Meconi in the 64th minute.

Seven minutes later Meconi was on the receiving end of her sixth career game-winning goal. Sophomore Katie O'Keefe (Shamong, N.J./Seneca) crossed a ball that found the foot of Meconi for the go-ahead score. For O'Keefe it was her Landmark Conference leading, fifth assist of the season.

Agata Dera (Wallington, N.J./Wallington) and Jeramie Barletta (Madison, N.J./Madison) combined for eight saves in net for the Rangers. Barletta was credited with her third win of the year after making two second-half stops.

The Rangers will return home on Monday when they host Rutgers-Newark at Ranger Stadium. The non-conference match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
