GLASSB ORO, N.J. (April 9, 2011) – Rowan (5-4) scored the game's final two goals of regulation and defeated the Rangers, 9-8 in overtime. The game marked the third time in four seasons the two teams needed extra time to decide a winner.

The Drew (4-7) offense rallied around Lindsay Fry (Mountain Lakes, N.J/Morristown Beard) and Sloane Coles (The Plains, Va./Foxcroft) who each had four goals on the day.

After trailing 5-3 at the half, the Rangers came out of the gates and scored four-straight goals to take a 7-5 lead with 18:05 remaining in the game. Fry brought the Rangers within one on a free position shot 7:42 into the half and Coles notched the game at five a little over a minute later. Fry, who was a perfect 2-for-2 on the day on free position shots, netted the next two capping the four-goal run.

The two teams exchanged goals with under ten minutes to play, making the score 8-6 in favor of Drew with 7:26 to go in the game. The Profs held the Rangers scoreless for the remainder of the game and in the process netted the final two goals of regulation, tying the game at nine. Rowan's Michelle Lubrano scored the equalizer with 4:23 left in the contest.

In the overtime frame, the Profs held a 5-3 advantage in shots with just two landing on net. The winning goal came with 2:27 left, on a Lubrano pass to senior Leah Hershey.

Goalkeeper Rachel Hanley (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) logged all 66 minutes between the pipes, making 10 saves.

The Rangers return home on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup with Ursinus at 6:00.
