Racine Records 200th Career Victory in Conference Win

Racine is the third coach in Drew history to accumulate 200 wins.
Box Score TOWSON, Md. (October 6, 2012) – Already the program's all-time leader in wins, Head Coach Christa Racine  notched her 200th career victory after a 2-0 win over Goucher (9-2-1, 0-2 Landmark) this afternoon. The Rangers even their overall record to 5-5-1 and 1-1-1 in Landmark Conference play.

A pair of first half goals by Emma Campbell (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) just 2:12 apart was all the Rangers needed to register their first Landmark Conference victory of the season. For Campbell the two tallies were her ninth and tenth goals of the season good for second in the Landmark Conference.

The Rangers defense shut down a red-hot Goucher team and the Landmark's top scorer, Sherlanda Buskey. The two teams were even in shots, firing 11 a piece.

Drew netminder Kim Jaikisssoon (Maplewood, N.J/Columbia) made a game-high five saves and recorded her second shutout of the season.

The Rangers will be on the road on Wednesday night when they travel to New Paltz, N.Y. for a bout with SUNY-New Paltz. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
