Rossi Matches Career-high in First Landmark Win

Box Score
TOWSON, Md. (April 14, 2012) – Senior Lyndsay Rossi (Pennington, N.J./Pennington School) tied a career high with five goals in today's 19-13 victory over Goucher. The Rangers improved to 6-7 on the season and evened their conference record to 1-1.

The Rangers poured in 10 first-half goals to take a seven-goal lead into halftime. Rossi sparked the Rangers offensive explosion with four of her five goals in the contest in the first 30 minutes and assisted on the first goal of the game.

Seniors Aileen Musynske (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park Memorial) and Lindsay Fry (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Morristown Beard) combined for 10 points to help power the potent Ranger attack. Musynske was the Rangers top distributor, recording four assists to go along with two goals. Fry collected a total of six draw controls and was successful on both of her free position shots in the contest.

Freshman Nikki Kleiman (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) recorded her fourth hat trick of the season with three goals on six shots. She led all Drew field players with three ground balls.

The Rangers held a comfortable 17-6 lead with 9:26 remaining in the game until the Gophers went on to score seven of the game's final nine goals. Hannah Khin and Becca Smith each had five goals for Goucher but it would not be enough to close the gap.

Sophomore goalkeeper Christiana Carlini (Amherst, N.H./Bishop Guertin) made 10 saves, playing all 60 minutes in the cage for her sixth win of the season.

The Rangers will be home for their final three games of the season starting on Tuesday against Connecticut College at 6:00 p.m. in Ranger Stadium.
