MADISON, N.J. (April 17, 2012) – It took over 70 minutes of lacrosse but the Rangers prevailed, 15-14 over Connecticut College(4-9) this evening in Ranger Stadium. With the win Drew climbs back to the .500 mark, evening its record to 7-7 on the year.

With 1:11 remaining in the third overtime, senior Aileen Musynske (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park Memorial) found a slashing Jess Johnson (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Senior) for the game-winning goal. The goal came on Johnson's only shot of the night and Musynske's second assist of the contest.

The Camels staged a furious comeback in the closing minutes of regulation, erasing a four-goal deficit in the final seven minutes. Connecticut tied the game up with 32 seconds remaining in the second half on the third goal of the game by Izzy Marx.  The unassisted score was netted by the Camels despite being two players down after a double yellow card at the 1:44 mark.

Musysnke finished with another stellar performance, scoring four goals to go along with her two assists. The senior now has 15 points in her last three games. Reigning Landmark Conference player of the Week, Lyndsay Rossi (Pennington, N.J./Pennington), notched her third hat trick in as many games, and scored the go-ahead goal in the first overtime.

Freshman Nikki Kleiman (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) recorded five points, scoring four goals for the third time this season. The Camels were led by senior Katelyn Driscoll who had a game-high six goals. Driscoll was a major factor in the Connecticut comeback, scoring three goals in the final 16 minutes of play.

Ranger netminder Christiana Carlini (Amherst, N.H./Bishop Guertin) tied a career-high with 13 saves. No stop was more important than one right before the end of regulation on a shot by Lowell Abbot with just seven seconds left.

Drew will be home on Saturday for a Landmark Conference matchup with Scranton at 1:00 p.m. in Ranger Stadium.
