MADISON, N.J. (April 19, 2012) – The Rangers remained undefeated at home with a 7-2 win over Hunter College (10-4) this afternoon on the Drew Tennis Courts. The Rangers are now 8-3 on the season and look to clinch the number one seed in the Landmark Playoffs this weekend against Susquehanna.
The Rangers took a 2-1 lead after doubles play thanks to wins at the number two and three positions. Junior
 Chelsea Lipp (East Lyme, Conn./East Lyme) and
 Deanna Williams (Fairfield, Calif./Gorin Tennis Academy) remained unblemished as doubles pairing after winning 8-0 in the number two slot. 
Cristine Conde (North Bergen, N.J./North Bergen) and 
Erica Fredrickson (Brooklyn, N.Y./St. Saviour) gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead with a 8-2 victory at number three doubles.
The Rangers did not drop a single game in singles play winning five of the six matches on the day. Conde continued her team-high five game winning streak with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Caroline Kaleda at number five singles. 
Sarit Ashkenazi (Hafia, Israel/Immaculate Conception) won her fifth straight match with a 6-1, 6-3 win at number two singles.
Sophomore 
Sofia Madrigal (San Jose, Costa Rica/Pan-American School), Williams and Fredrickson round off the Rangers singles wins on the day.
The Rangers will close their Landmark Conference schedule on Saturday when they take on Susquehanna at home at 1:00 p.m.
