Fry Concludes Career With First All-Region Selection

GRAND LAKE, Colo. (May 18, 2012) – Senior midfielder Lindsay Fry (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Morristown-Beard) was selected to IWLCA Boardwalk Region Second Team this afternoon. The honor comes at the heels of a First Team All-Landmark Conference selection a week ago.

In her final season for the Rangers, Fry emerged as one of the league's top players off the draw, picking up a team-high 89 draw controls. On three separate occasions in 2012 she scooped up double-digit draw controls, falling two shy of the school record of 14 twice. The senior started all 17 games for the Rangers this season, ranking third in the Landmark in draw controls.

On offense the senior added 22 goals and dished off 15 assists. Fry finishes her career with two All-Conference selections and her first All-Region honor. The Drew women's lacrosse program has had an all-region player every year since 1996.
