Box Score HUNTINGDON, Pa. (November 2, 2013) – The Drew University women's soccer team (14-3) lost its second Landmark Conference game of the season this afternoon by a score of 3-0 to Juniata (14-4) in Huntingdon, Pa.
The Rangers controlled possession for most of the first half taking more shots and taking more corners than the Eagles. The best opportunity for a Drew goal in the first half came in the 24

Katie O'Keefe (Shamong, N.J./Senaca) was headed on goal by sophomore
Alexa Kogan (West Windsor, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro North). Kogan's attempt was saved by Juniata goalkeeper Erin Mueller. The Rangers and Eagles entered the half tied 0-0.
The Rangers came firing out of the gates to start the second half. Just 50 seconds into the half senior
Bridget McRory (Howell, N.J./Howell) headed a cross on goal but Mueller again was there to make the save. In the 67
th Juniata scored its first of three second half goals when Paula Pryor volleyed home a cross from Alicia Snyder. In the 82
nd minute the Eagles scored again when Sarah Rhodes collected a cross from Pryor and chipped it over the Ranger goalkeeper. The Eagles capped the scoring less than five minutes later when Snyder collected a loose ball in front of the Ranger goal and buried a shot into the back of the net.
Sophomore
Sara Nash (Kingston, Wash./Kingston) started her 11
th game of the season in net for the Rangers. Nash made seven saves for Drew in the loss. Nash's record as the Ranger starter moves to 9-2 on the season.
After the results of this afternoon's contests, the Rangers finished third in the Landmark Conference standings and will head back to Huntingdon, Pa. on Wednesday afternoon for a rematch in the Landmark Semifinal with second-seeded Juniata. Top-seeded Scranton will face fourth ranked Moravian in the other Landmark Semifinal game.
