Box Score Madison, N.J. (March 22, 2014) – The Drew University women's lacrosse team (5-2, 2-0), won its fifth consecutive game with a 15-0 victory over Landmark Conference foe the United States Merchant Marine Academy (1-3, 0-1) this afternoon in Ranger Stadium.

Krysta Cento (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) scored three goals and added two assists for the Rangers in the victory. With her second goal of the game at the with 26:24 left to play in the first half Cento scored her 100th career goal as a member of Drew Women's Lacrosse. Krysta became the 14th Ranger in school history to hit the 100 career goal mark.
Drew started the game scoring three goals in the first 2:06 of the first half. Junior
Nikki Kleiman (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) scored, her first of three goals on the day, just twenty seconds into the contest. Kleiman added two assists for the Rangers in the win. Less than two minutes later senior
Alexandra Mattiace (Montville, N.J./Montville Township) scored her first goal of the season for the Rangers. With 19:16 left to play in the first half and a 4-0 lead senior
Jess Johnson (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown Senior) scored her first of two goals on the day, giving Drew a 5-0 lead. The Rangers added five more goals to close out the half taking a 10-0 lead into the halftime break.

Brooke Gagliano (Freehold, N.J./Freehold Twp.) found a cutting Kleiman wide open in front of the net for her third goal of the day. Gagliano finished the day with one goal and two assists. Freshmen
Anna Fiorini (Bethel, Conn./Bethel),
Kelly Dwyer (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes),
Theresa Shafron (Roxbury, N.J./Roxbury) and
Charlotte Brown (Rumford, R.I./St. Mary Academy Bay View) rounded out the scoring each with a goal in the second half.
Freshman goalkeeper
Gianna Minogue (Sayville, N.Y./Sayville) picked up her second win of the season in net for the Rangers. Minogue played 50 minutes making two saves and held the Mariner offense scoreless.
Drew returns to action on Wednesday March 26 at 7:00 p.m. as they travel up Madison Ave. for the annual Battle of Madison Avenue with FDU-Florham.
