MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University women's tennis team handed FDU-Florham its first loss of the season, as the Rangers defeated the Devils 6-3 Sunday morning.

Ashley Camel and freshman
Danielle DelRosso were each double-winners for the Rangers, who improved to 5-1 on the season. FDU fell to 6-1.
Drew opened the meet by sweeping the three doubles matches before splitting the six singles flights.Â
In doubles action, freshman
Sanne Bloemendaal and Camel won a tight 8-7 (7-5) decision at No. 1 while DelRosso and senior
Saraphina Noel Jeune prevailed 8-2 at No. 2. Seniors
Christina Christodoulou and
Cristina Riccio added an 8-4 victory at No. 3.
In singles play, Camel was an 8-4 winner at No. 1 while sophomore
Marwa Elessawy captured an 8-3 decision at No. 2. In addition, DelRosso won 8-3 at No. 6.
The Rangers return to action March 1-6, when they compete in five matches during their Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, S.C.
