MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University women's swimming & diving team captured its first-ever dual-meet win over the Catholic University on Saturday in Kirby Pool, scoring a 167-126 victory.
The Rangers won nine of 16 events, including victories in both relay events.
Freshman
Katerina Poulathas enjoyed a tremendous collegiate debut for Drew, winning three individual events. She touched first in the 100-freestyle (55.63), 200-freestyle (1:59.19), and 100-butterfly (1:00.58).
Junior
Katie Cashin and sophomore
Amira Hadri each contributed to three overall victories while capturing two individual events apiece. Cashin won both the 200-butterfly (2:16.67) and 200-IM (2:16.56) while Hadri, the reigning Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year, won both the 100-backstroke (1:01.36) and 50-freestyle (25.67). Drew picks up its schedule on Friday, when it hosts Montclair State University and Moravian University starting at 5 p.m.
