SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Drew University women's swimming & diving team continued its tremendous start, winning 14 of 15 events in a 185-92 victory at Landmark Conference foe Susquehanna University on Saturday.
With the win, the Rangers stayed perfect for the season at 5-0.Â
Drew won every swimming event and five Rangers - freshman
Harper Sensiba, freshman
Katerina Poulathas, sophomore
Amira Hadri, freshman
Sam Trodick, and junior
Katie Cashin - earned two victories apiece. The Blue and Green also finished 1-2 in four different events.
Sensiba claimed both distance events, prevailing in both the 500-freestyle (5:32.39) and the 1,000-freestyle (11:14.67). Poulathas took first in the 200-freestyle (2:00.03) and the 100-butterfly (1:00.96), and Hadri won both the 100-backstroke (1:02.39) and the 50-freestyle (25.79).Â
In addition, Trodick swept the breaststroke events, winning the 100 in 1:12.01 and the 200 in 2:37.35, while Cashin touched first in the 200-butterfly (2:16.72) and the 200-backstroke (2:18.49).
Adding one individual victory apiece were senior
Mackenzie Garcia Hynds in the 100-freestyle (55.99) and sophomore in the 200-IM (2:22.38).Â
In the relays, the 200-medley squad of Hadri, Trodick, Poulathas, and Garcia Hynds teamed up to win in 1:51.91 while the 400-freestyle contingent of Hadri, junior
Grace Aboussleman, Poulathas, and Garcia Hynds bested the field in 3:45.56.
The Rangers return to competition Dec. 3-4 for the 10th annual Ranger Invitational.
