MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University women's tennis team will visit Moravian College in the semifinal round of the Landmark Conference Championship on Wednesday starting at 4 p.m. at the Hoffman Tennis Courts
The fourth-seeded Rangers advanced on a 5-2 victory over fifth-seeded Susquehanna University in the quarterfinals this past Saturday. The top-seeded Greyhounds received a first-round bye.
The winner of the match advances to the championship match on Saturday to face the winner of the other semifinal match-up between second-seeded Scranton and third-seeded Catholic.
Drew enters the match with a 4-2 record. Prior to their quarterfinal victory, the Rangers earned regular-season victories over Juniata (6-3) and Susquehanna (5-4) as well as a forfeit over Goucher. Moravian is undefeated at 9-0 on the season.
The two sides did not meet this season and will be facing off for the first time since 2019. It will mark the second time Drew and Moravian have met in the Landmark Conference playoffs, as the Rangers topped the Greyhounds 5-2 in the 2010 championship match.
