SAVANNAH, Ga. and HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Drew University women's tennis team lost a pair of matches during its spring break trip on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the Rangers traveled to Savannah State University and lost by a final of 5-1 to the Division II Tigers. Junior
Danielle DelRosso recorded the lone victory for the Rangers, capturing a 6-0, 6-1 decision at No. 6 singles.Â
Drew returned to Hilton Head on Wednesday and lost a tough 5-4 decision to Methodist University. Sophomore

Mary Kalorin captured an 8-6 decision at No. 1 doubles, but the Monarchs captured the second and third doubles matches to assume a 2-1 lead.
The two sides went on to split the six singles matches as the Monarchs secured a one-point victory. Winning for the Rangers were Christodoulou at No. 1 (6-4, 6-3), DelRosso at No. 5 (6-0, 6-0), and senior
Kate Gangi at No. 6 (6-0, 6-0).
The Rangers conclude their southern swing on Friday, when they take on Messiah at 8:30 a.m. and Berry at 1 p.m. at Hilton Head.Â
