MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University women's tennis team clinched a home playoff match for the first time since 2016-17 with a 6-3 victory over Goucher College in showdown between the top-two teams in the Landmark Conference on Saturday at the Drew Tennis Courts.
With the victory, the Rangers (9-8, 6-0 LC) pushed their winning streak to seven and are one victory shy of going undefeated in Landmark Conference play for the first time since 2016-17.
The Rangers, who handed the Gophers (7-9, 4-1 LC) their first conference loss of the season, opened the match by capturing two of the three doubles points to take a 2-1 lead. Sophomore

Danielle DelRosso captured an 8-4 decision at No. 3 to stay perfect at 6-0 in Landmark matches.
In singles play, Kalorin (6-0, 6-0 at No. 2), junior
Sanne Bloemendaal (6-2, 6-1 at No. 3), and DelRosso (7-5, 6-3 at No. 5) all improved to 6-0 versus conference opponents while senior
Kate Gangi clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 6.
Drew hosts Catholic University on Sunday at noon in its final Landmark Conference match of the season.
